Inaugural game, 5th. April ,2008

As the Changi duffers is a newly formed group, most of the members are highly enthusiastic to have a mini competition among them to commemorate the birth of the Changi Duffers. Since we are also relatively inexperience in organizing golf events, the Duffers decided to have an Inaugural Game in the home club to try out and gather experience for future outside events.

In the morning of 5th. April, 20 Duffers assembly at the 1st. tee box of Changi Golf Club to start off the awaited first event. The weather was perfect for golf throughout the game, each and every Duffers returned to the 19th. hole with a lot of fun, and the fun extended beyond the lunch and prize presentation.

The game was played on stableford format. Jason Wong clinched the first prize without much surprise. The second place was taken up by our 18 years old rising star, Tom. Our veteran, Koh, had once again proved to us that senior golfer is not a push over by winning a close third. Last but not least, our three "lychee" Duffers had pledged not to drink this special drink in future tournament.

At about 3.00 PM, the curtain drawn for this successful event, with thanks to all Duffers, especially to the organizing committee.
